Here A Corey, There A Corey
Season two of ‘The Two Coreys’ debuted tonight (10PM on A&E). I have to admit, either it’s a sign of aging, or too many brain cells killed with alcohol, I’m enjoying this show, both for the nostalgia trip and the cautionary tale.
For those of you not in the area 
, ‘The Two Coreys’ is a ‘reality show’ following the lives of two former best friend child actors, Corey Haim and Corey Feldman. Both Coreys were very successful at a young age. Both had thousands of young female fans. They made several movies together, and were the best of friends.
However, all things must come to an end. The Coreys got older, the fans left them, the work offers dried up. Both actors had problems with drug addictions.
Now here is the funny part. Corey Feldman - usually portrayed as the ‘bad boy’ of the two, both on and off screen, appears to have gotten his act together. He has overcome his addictions, married an attractive fashion model, and is producing television and films.
Ironically, Corey Haim - perceived as the sweet, innocent one back in the day, is a walking train wreck. He is still out of work, frequently loses his temper, and still has many addiction-related problems; like blaming everyone but himself for his misfortunes.
I’m waiting for Feldman to snap and pop Haim in the mouth. Serves him right.
Hey, don’t get me wrong, I hope Haim scores nothing less than a full fleged comeback, but at this point, he’s looking like a younger version of Leif Garrett
