Some People Just Can’t Leave It Alone
I’m watching the Fox business block (as I always do on Saturday morning). Meme Roth of actionagainstobesity.com is the special guest on Cavuto on Business. Meme is accusing the Girl Scouts of contributing to the nation’s obesity problem by selling Girl Scout cookies. Among the accusations are 1) The Girl Scouts are undermining the community by selling a product that causes health problems and 2) Misleading the public by instructing the girls to tell the customers that there are no transfats in the cookies.
Me Me pretty much admitted that Girl Scout cookies are barely a drop in the fountain when it comes to the America’s obesity problem, so I don’t understand why she’s going after them. Well, other than the fact that they are an easy target, and it gets her and her organization some attention. Whatever.
