Like so many other fans of Pat nation, I’m ticked. Don’t get me wrong, I would have preferred this over a loss to a 4 - 7 team, but the Pats are starting to stink up the place. This surprises the heck out of me. The end of the season is drawing near, and the Pats have nothing sown up, but 1 playoff game at home. I don’t see a ‘w’ or a ‘z’ next to their name in the standings.

Given the kind of coach Bellichick is, I’m surprised the Pats would play this badly, given the near loss to another crappy team the week before. Surely they must realize that they can’t coast, not without Pittsburgh and Indy breathing down their necks.

The Brady Bunch are going to need to get their collective feces together promptly if they hope to have any prayer of beating Pittsburgh this Sunday.

I take it back, I would have preferred to lose to a 4 - 7 team than to have the Steelers close the book on this streak. I hate all things Pittsbugh. Any of my Grove City compatriots know why.

I’ll take the win, but I’m nervous about Sunday. We’ll just have to wait and see.
