No Recount…
Now that the election’s over, I can talk about it. I ran for office in my old hometown. Not for mayor or anything like that; one of the undercard jobs. I was running against an established politician who had previously served on the board of selectmen for many years. I did manage to squeak past the guy in his home district, but I got my butt handed to me in the other three. In all, I ended up with about 2700+ votes; about 38%. Not bad considering I don’t know that many people!
Oh well. Hey, 2009 is just around the corner!
