I’m a lonely frog…..
…Ain’t got a home. And so begins a new category on the BoormanBlog: Searching for a house. My lease is up on 03/20, and I’m going ot try to buy a house in that time. To that end, I’ll be looking at 3 different houses in Manchester tomorrow (actually, make that today, guess where I was tonight!!!). Better hit the hay if I want to be coherent tomorrow!! Wish me luck!!

Hey dude- looks like you’re going from one rough area to the next. If these areas are being considered seriously, I’d highly recommend picking up a pistol of some sort. Does nothing for the equity of the house, but let the neighbors know you have it and it’ll save you more money than you’d spend on ADT. I have ADT on my house to keep people (kids) in, not keep others out. The one gun I have left keeps unwanted scourge out just fine. But then, I’m a dumb Texan, so what do I know??? Keep writing and I’ll keep reading.

Manchester, by comparison isn’t so bad. It looks like I won’t be living there anyway. I want to put 20% down on whatever I buy, so the houses there aren’t an option. I’m back to looking at condos now. I’ll keep you posted. Thanks for the comment!
