So last Friday night (01/26), I was down at the club I like to frequent. As it happened, here in the Northeast, winter arrived with a vengence. Last Friday night, temps got down well below freezing, which cause many folks to stay home or to do something else other than go dancing. The club that night was far from packed.

Early on, though, there was a group of ladies out on the floor early. I was kind of hovering on the sidelines, just bopping along with my Bud Light in my hand. One of the ladies grabbed me and pulled me out on the floor. She and her friends passed me around for a few minutes, and then, just like that, they were on their way, not to be seen again. I stayed for the rest of the night, but didn’t really dance with anyone else. Still, any night where I get to dance with someone is a good night

I feel very encouraged by this streak of good fortune I’m experiencing. I’m definitely making up for lost time!
