I was looking over old posts and discovered I never updated everybody on my speed dating. Obviously, nothing happened. There was only one woman interested in me that I had expressed interest in. I emailed her the day after the speed date, and again a few days after. Match.com says neither of my emails have been read. Try as I might, I’ll never understand why people express interest, and then don’t follow through. I always make sure that I’m curteous, even when I’m not interested. To ignore emails is just plain rude. Is it too much to expect that a woman behave like a lady and be polite? Needless to say I wasn’t happy about being given the brush off, and made sure Match.com knew about it. I’ll give them credit. They made good and my next speed dating event is free.

It only goes to show that I really am an optimist at heart. I’ve fallen off the horse so many times no one could blame me for giving up. But still keep getting back on the horse. I’m either optimistic or masochistic!

Less than 3 months until Valentine’s Day. Oh goody.
