So all time Jeopardy champion Ken Jennings makes a few silly comments on his blog (!) about Jeopardy and Alex Trebek, insinuating the later is actually a robot. Michael Starr of the New York Post breaks the story wide, making a little too much of nothing, calling Jennings comments “bashing”. Jennings strikes back at Starr. Oooh catfight!

Not that a blog written by a complete nobody needs to offer any analysis on what’s already an overblown story, but if this has taught us anything it’s that 1) If you win $2.5 million on a game show, best to be diplomatic about it, and save any “humorous” barbs for other targets, and 2) The New York Post has sunk so low that it scavenges people’s blogs for “news”. Really? Nothing happening in the Middle East catch your eye the last few days? Actually, to be fair, I did buy the New York Post the other day. I had fish to wrap and a birdcage to clean.
