Does my pedometer have missing chads?

Well, I went running again this evening. This time I thought I’d attach my pedometer to my sock instead of my waist, thinking it may give a more accurate reading. Well, after an hour of running, I took a water break and saw that my pedometer registered all of….2.5 miles. So much for more accuracy. Maybe I need tighter socks?

So, I moved the pedometer back to my waist and ran for another hour. When I was all done, the pedometer showed 7 miles. Minus the 2.5 from the first hour that’s about 4.5 miles. I figure I ran about 9 miles today, which is what I wanted. This time, just walking for 20 minutes. Boy I feel like crap. ;)
